![]() Rucker Park, located in New York City has always been considered the home of the best streetball around. The EBC began in 1982 as games between rap groups, and bounced around a few parks for a few years before finding a long-time home at Rucker Park. The EBC is what has kept Rucker Park alive for years after the original Rucker tournament and various leagues shut down. All the famous stuff you've heard happen at Rucker Park from the 1980's up through the present, that's the EBC. The park has seen many NBA and streetball legends such as Pee Wee Kirkland, Earl "The Pearl" Monroe, Joe Hammond, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Julius Erving and Kenny Anderson jsut to name a few. Many people who played at the park achieved a level of fame for their basketball abilities, and several have gone on to play in some type of professional basketball league.
