THE CAGE

The Cage has become one of the most important tournament sites for the city-wide  amateur basketball tournament, and is noted for its non-regulation size. The court seems to have been made for more down bottom play.

Former NBA star Anthony Mason and NBA player Smush Parker earned respect because of their tough play on the court. The West 4th Street League was founded by Kenny Graham and has been graced with players such as Gus & Ray Williams, Earl Tatum, Rudy Hackett, Scooter & Rodney McCray. Among the notables who have filled the Cage are Dr. J, Walter Berry and Jayson Williams.
